FORESIGHT is the ability to predict, or the action of predicting what will happen or be needed in the future. It's anticipating the changes in a season, which requires being spiritually sound. Foresight is planning and equipping yourself for what is to come. It's paying close attention to God and discerning how He is moving in a situation. It's watching out and being aware of the enemies plots and ploys to keep you distracted. Having foresight, causes you to move with caution and care, yet full of readiness and preparation. It's being a seer, having vision, and being aware of what's going on in the spiritual real. It requires discernment to make the right decisions in a situation, especially in a season where resources are scarce, but being confident that God takes care of His people. We need to be aware of the Father so when He says move we move!

The last 2 years some of you may have gotten the ability to rest for the 1st time in a long time, but now is time to come out of slumber. For others, they seen this pandemic as an opportunity to begin planning. I believe this is the season to set your mine again on the vision and purpose God has for you. To catch up and begin planning and preparing for your vision, ground yourself in your convictions, and stay alert for the next season that is coming so you are ready for when opportunities presents themselves. For the prudent, it’s time to be vigilant. You’ve done your planning, but don’t loose focus because of delay and tarry. Stay alert and full of anticipation, the race is not to the swift, but to the one who endures to the end. Minor set backs has passed, doors of opportunity are on the horizon!

PRAYER

Father, give us the ability to take lead on the things that you are observing from the heavenly realm. To get in front of things in all areas of our lives mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. Help us to be like the ant in the areas of our lives we feel unmotivated. To be self-motivated even when we are not being monitored, working hard and to be prepared for any season so we are not taken by surprised. Remove all procrastination, remove all loathness, remove a mindset that produces poverty and lack. But Lord give us your Spirit of wisdom, let your counsel be in our hearts, let us remain in the knowledge of you, which brings understanding in every situation, so that we will be grounded in peace. Give us seeing eyes and hearing ears, insight so we have discernment to make good judgements. Fill us with vision and sight empowered by your Spirit, giving you glory in all things and in every situation Amen!

PROVERBS 6:6-11 (THE PASSION TRANSLATION)

When you’re feeling lazy,
come and learn a lesson from this tale of the tiny ant.
Yes, all you lazybones, come learn
from the example of the ant and enter into wisdom.
The ants have no chief, no boss, no manager—
no one has to tell them what to do.
You’ll see them working and toiling all summer long,
stockpiling their food in preparation for winter.
So wake up, sleepyhead. How long will you lie there?
When will you wake up and get out of bed?
If you keep nodding off and thinking, “I’ll do it later,”
or say to yourself, “I’ll just sit back awhile and take it easy,”
just watch how the future unfolds!
11 By making excuses you’ll learn what it means to go without.
Poverty will pounce on you like a bandit
and move in as your roommate for life.
