TRUTH 9: FASTING HELPS TO BUILD A RESILIENT MIND
Fasting is way more mental than physical (not for people on medication or nursing moms). Fasting is mental resilience. Your mind will play tricks and send weird signals. After a couple of days your stomach stop working so you don’t get hungry it becomes a mental thing.
TRUTH 10: FASTING MOVES YOU TO GOD’S PERFECT WILL
Romans 12:1 (Amplified Bible)
Therefore I urge you, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies [dedicating all of yourselves, set apart] as a living sacrifice, holy and well-pleasing to God, which is your rational (logical, intelligent) act of worship.
Offer your body to God through fasting. As you give your body as a living sacrifice, your mind begins to be transformed, so you can discover God’s perfect will for your life. Moves you from crisis to calling, from problems to purpose.
