Hey KWE family, we have a new member aboard! Spot light on author and educator, Deborah Sweeting!

She is a educator and tutor. SO, all you parents who had to stay home with your little terror and had to help them with their math homework =( , totally sucks that you didn't have her around, but good news! IF they decide not open schools, you can always reach out to hear and she can share some light on learning. She was my college Geometry teacher, and let me tell you, if I hadn't had her as a teacher, I don't know if I or my GPA score would have survived ::( . THANK YOU MRS. SWEETING, and welcome to the team!!!

Mrs. Deborah Radford-Sweeting was born in Tacoma, WA, but moved to Chicago at the age of five. Growing up on the westside of town was not easy, but her families’ faith was the foundation for her life. Deborah graduated from high school and moved to Arizona for college where she received her bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Arizona State University. After graduation, Mrs. Radford-Sweeting spent her first three years of high school teaching in the Phoenix area. She soon got the itch to move back to Chicago and eventually to Gary, Indiana to teach for another three years. While there, she completed her master’s degree in mathematics. Deborah now teaches at Grand Canyon University and South Mountain Community College teaching mathematics. Before her formal teaching journey, Deborah tutored privately and has successfully assisted students with their educational endeavors for 15 years. Mrs. Radford-Sweeting now owns a small tutoring company, Lights On Learning, LLC. However, her growing passion is to teach and mentor young women through writing and mentoring programs. She has also been known to write plays and act at times. Mrs. Deborah Radford-Sweeting has written two published books and is concurrently writing three more. The first is a children’s novel, The Normal School. The other is a romance novel, which is a modern take on the biblical Esther. Each book can be found on Amazon.com. Mrs. Sweeting was recently married to her supportive husband, Jerome Sweeting. They reside in the Phoenix area where they support a local ministry, First Pentecostal Church. Most of all, Mrs. Radford-Sweeting loves to be where she is needed. You can find her visiting with her family and friends in her spare time and encouraging just about anyone. To God be the glory.
